Although we already knew that Damian was making music with the wonderful jazz band Kansas Smitty’s and that there was talk about making an album, Damian’s return to stage with a guitar in his hands has been the most exciting and happy surprise of the year! I was extremely lucky to be at Damian’s first ever gig at Omeara London where our ‘Ginger Elvis’ ruled the stage with his originals as well as some great covers. Such a Night: Damian Lewis at the EFG London Jazz Festival 2022

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I had a 72-hour lightning trip to London last week for a special weekend with fan friends and a fantastic evening of music at The Tabernacle London in Notting Hill with the one and only Damian Lewis. It was such a night that, one week later,  I am still the under the spell of Damian’s spectacular performance and ready to tell you all about how our Ginger Elvis has ruled on the stage and off – he has made time for everyone, VIPs and fans alike, after the gig. Well, ladies and gentleman, I am just back from a 36-hour London trip where I was part of a very special evening with Damian Lewis. And while I need to pack now for another trip for tomorrow, I am sitting here, collecting my thoughts, to write every single detail I remember from Damian’s fantastic first gig at Omeara London.
