An Ode to Bobby Axelrod: Top 40

Cheers to five years of Bobby Axelrod on Billions! What an indelible character Damian has etched in our pop culture forever. Although Damian left the show after five seasons there was always an opportunity for him to return – never say never, right? We even felt his character’s constant presence in season six. Fast forward to the upcoming season seven and that’s exactly what has happened…the Axe has returned. As reported here, we will have Bobby back on our small screens for approximately 6 of the 12 episodes for season seven. Damian officially announced his return on a recent episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert here.

Damian Lewis ROCKS Rough Trade East Stage and SIGNS Albums for Fans

Damian Lewis and his fabulous band had a special little gig at Rough Trade East in London followed  by Damian signing the copies of ‘Mission Creep’ vinyls and CDs gig attendees received with their ticket purchase. One good surprise of the evening was the pre-gig chat between Damian and his friend, collaborator and producer Giacomo Smith about the musical journey they have had in the last three years. We Celebrate Damian Lewis as a Dad on Father’s Day

Damian Lewis is a fantastic actor. A generous philanthropist. He is a skilled player on the football field. And we have seen again in the recent Soccer Aid video that he can definitely sing. But, among all different hats he wears, that of fatherhood stands out as the most precious one. And how beautiful the stories we hear and the images we get of Damian as a father. So we’d love to share some of our recollections of him being a dad on this Father’s Day.

Dad is a word which can evoke a minefield of emotions simply because the word is personal to each of us and our personal circumstances will affect whether the word evokes positive or negative emotions.

Being a Dad (in real life) can be all kinds of difficult and rewarding. With Father’s Day approaching we take a look at Damian Lewis as an onscreen Dad.

Probably because I lost my dad at a very young age, I am a true sucker for loving father-daughter relationships in fiction. So here goes a few of my favorite moments with Damian Lewis as an onscreen dad. Even though the characters in each relationship are quite different, there is an overarching theme: A lost soul who finds meaning in life through his love for his daughter.
