Damian is my fellow Aquarian. And if you believe in horoscopes — I cannot say I do but I enjoy reading them — then 2019 will be a GOOD year for us 😀 But, honestly, when it comes to Damian’s year, we don’t really need to read the horoscope, the tea leaves, or having grown up in Turkey, the coffee cup for him 🙂
Firstly, we are looking forward to the premiere of Billions Season 4 on Showtime March 17 at 9pm ET/PT! The series has already become the premium network’s second biggest show ever after Homeland and guess what — there is only one actor that has played in Showtime’s two biggest shows! 😀 And then the two films Damian has completed in 2018, namely Run This Town and Once Upon a Time in Hollywoodare coming to a theater near us this year… So we can only imagine the possibilities 2019 may bring…
Happy Birthday, Damian! You make 48 look so damn good and so we have decided to come up with that many reasons to love you! ENJOY!
Apart from being spotted as Bobby Axelrod on Billions Season 4 set, Damian is mostly just being himself these days, spending the weeks working in New York and jetting back to London on his off days to be with the family. So why not revisit a character that Damian has said is the one role that was most like him in real life? The thinking man with a sunny disposition: Charlie Crews. Here’s my visit with Life.
According to Wikipedia, a prop, formally known as theatrical property, is an object used on stage or screen by actors during a performance or production. In practical terms, a prop is considered to be anything movable or portable on a stage or a set, distinct from the actors, scenery, costumes, and electrical equipment. Based on that definition, clothing, shoes, hats or scarves would typically be out of play, but we are going to bend the rule just a bit and allow it! Interesting enough, consumable food items appearing in a production could be considered props, too.
So you know what all this means? It’s game time! Name three stage or screen props you would most like to own from the set of any of Damian’s theatre, film or television series and explain why. As an added bonus, some of us came up with an original or funny use of the prop, without using the prop the way it was intended. Let’s play Prop Improv with Damian Lewis.
We are extremely thrilled Damian has received BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Award for Excellence in TV last night. While we have all the news, pictures, and videos from the ceremony on damian-lewis.com, we have a FUN walk down the memory lane here on Fan Fun, celebrating Damian’s brilliant TV career, all the way from his early TV roles in popular British series to the iconic Dick Winters, Nicholas Brody and Bobby Axelrod.
Hello – Holliedazzle here! Welcome, one and all, to the Life with Charlie Crews series wrap up! In this post, we’ll all be weighing in with our highlights (and lowlights) of the entire series. Let’s jump right in, shall we?
At the center of Life lies the heart and mind of a man who gets his life back, along with a $50M settlement and his LAPD badge, after 12 years in prison for a murder he did not commit. Charlie Crews is quirky and charming and funny, but vulnerable and even sinister at times. He’s a walking proof of the wide range Damian Lewis can deliver as an actor. No wonder New York Magazine calls him “the you-can’t take-your-eyes-off-him star” in Life. Damian takes a good network show and elevates it to another level.
