Here Comes The Cheapest Man in America: “Dollar” Bill Stearn in Billions

We first meet “Dollar” Bill Stearn  in Billions Pilot where he tells Bobby Axelrod he is not uncertain that Axe Capital has to short Superior Auto. His boss agrees with his assessment while he calls him the cheapest man in America! And as we find out over time that Bill is a very colorful character from his two families to his love/hate relationship with Spyros, as well as a very loyal Axe Capital employee from his fake fight with Axe to him dropping his pants in front of Axe to prove his loyalty – Bill’s signature personality trait stands out as, well, cheapness! And the thing is the man has no problem with that. On the contrary, from his lucky dollar bill that he won in a poker game from Carl Icahn to the giant dollar sign in his garage, Dollar Bill OWNS his cheapness! Billions: Ranking Our Top 7 Episodes of 7 Seasons

Billions may have ended, but we have not stopped thinking about the stories and characters that we have lived with these past 7 season.

We challenged ourselves to pick our “7 of 7” – our top 7 episodes from 7 seasons of Billions. Did any of our top 7 make your list? What’s your favorite episodes and why?

OMG it was incredibly hard to narrow down my most favorite episodes to  seven… but now that I have my seven, when I look at them, I get that I really like cerebral storylines, risky moves, long games, killer closing  scenes, and Karyn Kusama who is the director of two episodes in my top 7 list. And if I am able to figure out a twist in the episode before it is revealed, then I love it even more 😀

Billions Season 7 Dining Guide

One of my favorite things about my favorite TV show is how it showcases the New York dining scene from hole-in-the-walls to neighborhood gems to Michelin-starred restaurants. And it has been my pleasure to share the information about restaurants appearing on the show first in my weekly recaps and then in a full dining guide by the end of the season for Season 1,  Season 2, Season 3, Season 4, and Season 5.

Billions Season 7 Locations Guide

As I mentioned a billion times before, Billions is a dream show for me not only because my favorite actor is in it, but also because New York, from its landmarks to its city parks and to its quirky shops, appears as a cast member in the show! As someone who feels the only home she has in the world is the city that never sleeps, I particularly love it that Billions is taking over New York, the BIG film studio that it is, and shooting all over the place, from Manhattan to Queens to Brooklyn to The Bronx to Long Island and to northern suburbs. So I have put together this Billions Season 7 Location Guide as a loving tribute to my most favorite place on earth (and also to my second favorite place on earth!) and a heartfelt thank you to the show creators for writing a love letter to the city.
