Hello everyone! Damianista welcomes you to a NEW Fan Story Tuesday.
Today’s story comes from Lucia, a wonderful fan from Italy, my favorite destination in the world. You will love her story especially because Damian had to “work hard” to make her fall for him! And big thanks go to Lucia not only for sharing her wonderful fan story with us but also for her very kind words about the work we put into the blog. I admit it is a wonderful feeling to know Damian appreciates the work we do, but we know very well that this blog could not exist without the love and support we have constantly been getting from Damian Lewis fans from all over the world. So, thank you all for being with us! Continue reading “Damian Lewis Had to “Work Hard” to Make Her Fall For Him: Lucia’s Story”
Hello all! Damianista welcomes you to a NEW Fan Story Tuesday!
Today’s story comes from Olga, a wonderful old-timer in Damian Lewis fandom! Her first “meeting” goes way back to Brides, a lovely movie Damian made back in 2004, a movie that I also deeply love, and the rest is history 😀
My wife is much more sensible and has much better taste than most people. -Damian Lewis
Happy Birthday, Helen!
This is a collective effort from Fan Fun team in throwing a birthday party for Helen on the blog. Hope you all enjoy it!
It’s quite easy to figure out why Damian fell in love with his better half: Beauty, talent and brains, a rare combination, seem to have come together and stolen our guy’s heart. The couple has been together for more than a decade, married for ten years and going as strong as ever. We wished them a Happy Anniversary more than a month ago here.Continue reading “Happy Birthday, Helen McCrory! TOP DOZEN Reasons to Love Her”
Hello, everyone! Damianista welcomes you to a NEW Fan Story Tuesday!
Today’s story comes from Rachel! I met Rachel on Twitter months ago and I have known she was a brilliant fan from London but I have recently found out that she is a TRUE friend, too. Well, look at this picture!
Rachel gave Damian the paper he holds at The Goat stage door saying HELLO to lovely Krista, a brilliant fan and one of our biggest supporters, who has not been able to see The Goat. This is one of the most beautiful gestures I have ever seen in my life. Hats off to you, Rachel, and thanks so much for taking the time to share your wonderful fan story with us! And, hey, I love your tshirt! Continue reading “Who is this Guy that Looks like Steve McQueen? Rachel’s Story”
Vanity Fair: “Which living person do you most admire?”
Damian Lewis: “Sohana Collins. A little girl I know who’s extremely brave.
Do you want to HELP the bravest girl Damian has ever known?
Sohana Collins, who gives her name to Sohana Research Fund, is a teenager who was born with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB or EB) which means she lacks the protein that holds her skin together. Kids with EB have extremely fragile skin that they are sometimes called “butterfly children.” Lots of activities we take for granted as easy routines in our daily lives are a struggle for them. Can you imagine a day where your dressing up takes up to two hours and eating and drinking cause blisters in your mouth and throat? These kids have to deal with this kind of pain every single day.
