Mission Creeeep: Why Damian Lewis’ Second Album Is Worth the Wait

Holy Damian 🙂 or Damian performing at Cyprus Avenue, Cork, Ireland, October 2025

The title of this post comes directly from Damian himself.

He gave it to me during the Q&A he did with his producer, Giacomo Smith, only a few days after releasing his debut album Mission Creep.

When Damian Lewis released Mission Creep in June 2023, many people saw it as a debut album — something new, unexpected, and exciting. But for fans like us, who followed the live shows very closely, listened carefully to what Damian said, and watched how the music evolved over time, it quickly became clear that Mission Creep was not the end of the story. It was the beginning. Continue reading “Mission Creeeep: Why Damian Lewis’ Second Album Is Worth the Wait”

TOP Damian Lewis Moments 2025: Damian’s Mini-Tour of Ireland

Damian recently took to Instagram as above to reflect on his mini-tour of the Emerald Isle. And now that I reflect on my own week long trip to Ireland to follow Damian and the band from Cork to Dublin to Limerick, it was so many train rides, so many hotel rooms, so much gray skies, and so little sleep! And it was all WORTH IT for the fantastic music, fun chats, pints of beer and big laughs with people I adore! Ireland, you were something else! Damian’s mini-tour was packed with energy, good vibes, and those up-close moments that make live music so special. And it goes without saying that the Ireland tour was a TOP Damian Lewis Moment 2025. Throwback Thursday to Damian Lewis at The Tabernacle London

“Jazz is a broad church. That’s why we chose a Tabernacle. Place of residence. Place of meeting. Tent of congregation. Tent of meeting.”

-Damian Lewis

Well, ladies and gentlemen, exactly three years ago, I had a 72-hour lightning trip to London for a special weekend with fan friends and a fantastic evening of music at The Tabernacle London in Notting Hill with the one and only Damian Lewis. It was such a night with our Ginger Elvis rocking on the stage and off – he made time for everyone, VIPs and fans alike, after the gig.So please come join me in the beautiful and inspiring  music hall that is The Tabernacle London, and live or re-live (if you were lucky  enough to be there) every single detail from that glorious evening… And don’t get surprised that I am talking about A Spy Among Friends and The Radleys as Damian’s upcoming projects. They were upcoming projects three years ago and I haven’t changed a word in my original write-up .

REDUX: Following Damian Lewis on his Mini-Tour of Ireland

It’s been over a week since I got back home from Damian Lewis’ mini tour of Ireland, and I’m still absolutely buzzing. The energy, the music, the atmosphere — it’s all still running through my head. What an unforgettable experience! And I am here to share it with you!

Holy Damian 🙂

Damian ruled on stage and off – he made time for everyone, his guests and his fans, after the gig. He had pictures taken with them, gave autographs as well as bear hugs. The smaller venues made it easy for Damian and the band to mingle with the crowd after each gig, rather than hosting guests backstage — which, I think, made the whole experience so much fun for the fans. I met so many wonderful people on the tour, and I have to say, the Irish are truly special — so friendly, so kind, and always ready with a smile. I don’t know how many times each person thanked me for the “I was there” magnet that I gave them. Continue reading “REDUX: Following Damian Lewis on his Mini-Tour of Ireland”

Now that I’m back and have recovered from jet lag, I am ready to tell you all about how Damian ruled on stage and off – he made time for everyone, his guests and his fans, after the gig. He had pictures taken with them, gave autographs as well as bear hugs.
