Abbey Road, London. It’s special. It’s special because it houses the famous zebra crossing that the Beatles walk on the cover of their fantastic album, titled, of course, Abbey Road.
Can you imagine, how many fans, from England and all around the world, speaking all different languages, but sharing the same love for the Beatles, have crossed the street posing like one of the Fab Four?
“Mad Men. I watch endless episodes when I should be working.”
Damian, I cannot thank you enough for loving Mad Men; because, first, you give me the chance to write about something that I LOVE very deeply, and second, it is so much fun to share this love for Mad Men with you!
Get back to the quote: “Watching endless episodes when I should be working.” I know it well. Very well indeed. The guy with the big red clock asks: “Are you a good cook?”
We find out Damian Lewis is a good cook.
It turns out that Damian started to cook after he had kids. In an interview with the Evening Standard, he says: “I only really started cooking when I became a dad. Helen was flat out breastfeeding and sleeping, exhausted all the time. I realized that if I didn’t cook, we wouldn’t eat. Now I love to cook Gary Rhodes‘ fishcakes with a lemon butter sauce and green beans. I’m no food connoisseur, though; foodies have palates that can speak hundreds of different languages — mine can only manage about one.” Continue reading “Cook it Like Damian Lewis!”
Welcome to the first “U say Friday, I say Free-day” on Fan Fun with Damian Lewis! I plan to write my random thoughts about random things on Fridays, including but not limited to books, movies, family, politics, lifestyle, fashion, culture, sports, food, travel, music, memories, in short, anything you can think about life… and always with a twist about Damian Lewis.
My first Free Friday piece is about the very theme of the day.
