Damian Lewis Plays a Tudor King but Hangs out with the Windsors :D

Damian Lewis will be one of the leads at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations to be broadcast on ITV on May 15. BritBox North America has also announced that it would exclusively stream the celebrations in the UK live on May 15. You can go here for subscription for Britbox US. The live-streaming will begin at 3:30 PM ET / 12:30 PM PT on Sunday.

We know that Damian is no stranger to the Royal Family. While he may play a Tudor King, we have  seen him hanging out with the Windsors in recent years. And as we cannot wait to see him as part of  the celebrations to honor the Queen’s 70 years of public service, why don’t we take a walk in memory lane and remember the fun moments Damian had with the members of  the  Royal family?

Damian Lewis Talks James Bond: Books, Movies and the Never-ending Rumors *UPDATED*

“The great thing about Bond is how bad a spy he is, and how brilliant he is in recovering his position. Bond makes endless mistakes. That’s what’s fun about him, and then [he] has to do something extraordinary to recover himself.” – Damian Lewis

Damian narrated the  is currently filming A Spy Among Friends in which he is portraying Nicholas Elliot, a real life MI6 agent during Cold War years. And this obviously brings to mind the rumors going on for six years or so that Damian Lewis is in “the running” to be the next James Bond. Given that Daniel Craig is coming back to play the world’s most famous secret agent again in the 25th official James Bond movie, the rumor does not hold much water at the moment. However, it is such a FUN rumor that we could not resist blogging about it earlier here and are still having fun with it! Besides, it is a true pleasure to see how Damian handles the 007 questions with some fresh humor every single time.

We aspired to launch yet another FUN  Fan Fun project last year and asked for your help. Yet, we had to take a break from the project when Helen sadly passed away. Now that we’ve resumed the project, we need your help!

In my not-very-humble opinion, the way he uses his physicality, his mind-blowing precision as well as his incredible range collectively make Damian one of the best, if not the best, working actors that we have today. The evidence presents itself in the fantastic characters he brought to life in his acting career of more than two decades varying from WWII hero Major Winters to homeless William Keane to billionaire Bobby Axelrod. Bobby has been indicted, separated from his wife and has moved Axe Capital HQ to Manhattan.
