It Happened One Afternoon: Eli’s Story

Hello everyone! Damianista welcomes you to a NEW Fan Story Tuesday!

Today’s fan story comes from a wonderful fan, Eli, living in a city that I am dying to visit at some point: Buenos Aires! She and I, next to being Damian Lewis fans, have more than a bit in common: She is an only child, she is a blogger (please visit Eli’s wonderful blog Eli & Friends here), and she is a runner (certainly a much better one than me), too!

Massive thanks go to Eli for taking the time to share her lovely fan story with us. Here’s to many years of sharing Damian love together! <3 Continue reading “It Happened One Afternoon: Eli’s Story”

And one question I was dying to know the answer for was as follows — I copy and paste from my earlier post: Continue reading “Bobby Axelrod: The Boy Whose Dad

From Yosemite Sam to Ice Juice: Why We Love Billions’ Sense of Humor – Season 2

source: Showtime

I have repeatedly said Billions is the smartest show on TV and I stand behind my words. A smart show starts with smart writing and Billions’ plot, a true roller coaster ride with mind-blowing twists and turns, speaks volumes in this regard. And I am particularly impressed by the way the show is served peppered with some delicious sense of humor. We wrote about why we love the sense of humor in Season 1 earlier here and it is time to take a closer look at some of the fun moments Billions brought to us in its sophomore season. Bobby Axelrod and Wendy Rhoades Preincarnate

Now that we’ve had a fun peek at some filming and behind the scenes pics of Billions Season 3 featuring our favorite working couple, let’s revisit a post on how the relationship between Bobby Axelrod and Wendy Rhoades mirrors another relationship Damian has played: Paul and Lizzie from the BBC film Friends and Crocodiles.
