This blog has had an interesting relationship with Billions. I launched the blog only two weeks before they started shooting the pilot in New York and I have been very lucky to catch up with Damian on the set once every season since. I do not know how many times you need to do a thing for it to become a tradition, but catching up with Damian on Billions set once a year certainly feels like a tradition now.
And when I saw Billions signs on Park Avenue on a Saturday evening in December, I thought I could continue the tradition. The signs hint that they might shoot at Eleven Madison Park where I could easily imagine Axe eat with other billionaires, and was happy that I could continue the tradition. When asked about what he is watching on TV at Times Talks London back in 2014, Damian first talks about the usual suspects including Breaking Bad, Mad Men and Game of Thrones and then adds that on top of his recording list is ALWAYS Match of the Day. And many thanks go to Bookworm for reminding me of a Homeland Fun Fact about Match of the Day! Remember the scene in Homeland Pilot where Carrie notices Brody’s almost jazz-like finger tapping…

Happy Labor Day! It means this is the last chance for most of us to have one last long weekend before the summer ends. But it also means Billions Season 4 shoot is starting in New York, well, tomorrow!!!! It goes without saying we will follow the shoot to the best of our ability and write about our hopes, wishes and fantasies for Season 4 in the coming weeks and months.
But, today, we will talk about Damian’s summer, the second in a row he has enjoyed fully!
Damian constantly worked all summers between 2011 while he was shooting Homeland to 2016 when they were starting the Billions shoot in summer.
