TOP Damian Lewis Moments 2025: The Personal Edition

We spend so much time celebrating Damian’s work — the roles, the music, the theatre, the awards — and rightly so. But every once in a while, it feels just as important to pause and appreciate the quieter moments. The ones that remind us that behind the performances, there is also a dad, a partner, a son, a brother, a friend — a full human being living a real life.

So here it is: Top Personal Moments of Damian Lewis in 2025.

The year began in the most stylish way imaginable, with Damian attending London Fashion Week alongside Manon and Gully for the Burberry Winter 2025 show at Tate Britain. The three of them arriving together felt like a perfect snapshot of modern British cool — effortless, warm, and very much a family moment dressed up in couture. Damian later thanked Anna Wintour on Instagram for “the best seat in the house.” See below.

A few months later, Damian attended the BAFTA TV Awards — and what made the night truly special wasn’t just the nomination for his performance as Henry VIII in Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light. It was the fact that he turned the evening into a family affair. Walking the carpet and attending the ceremony with his father John Watcyn Lewis, daughter Manon, and son Gully felt more meaningful than any trophy.

Throughout the year, those family moments kept appearing in the most natural ways. Hosting a Parents’ Quiz Night at Gully’s school. A family ski holiday in spring break. A rugby derby and Wimbledon Day 8 with Gully. Oh, and Gully had a milestone birthday this year: He’s 18.

And, of course Damian kept supporting his beloved Liverpool. He was spotted at the EFL Final Match between Liverpool and Newcastle.

One of the most touching moments of the year came when Manon officially stepped into the role of Youth Ambassador for HvH Arts. Watching the daughter of Helen and Damian carry forward the spirit of that charity felt emotional in the best way — not as obligation, but as legacy, chosen with heart.

And speaking of family… the Lewis–Russell–Yaxley clan’s annual Cornwall summer weekend returned in August, with Damian, Alison, Manon, and Gully joining Damian’s siblings, nieces, nephews, and his father John. Cornwall seems to be their happy place — cozy, breezy, and full of long meals, long walks, and long-standing family traditions. These are the moments we rarely see but always feel.

Of course, 2025 wasn’t all family weekends and fashion weeks. Damian also enjoyed a very, very good year as a man with excellent taste — especially when he picked up a vintage Mercedes-Benz 280SL from Classic Chrome Ltd. A true collector’s classic. It was peak “boys and their toys,” the kind of moment where you instantly understand that yes, men can fall in love at first sight… as long as it has wheels.

Music, art, and creativity shaped his year in meaningful ways, too — often through the adventures he shared with Alison.

Throughout the year, Damian was a familiar face at London press nights, supporting the theatre he loves, from  Much Ado About Nothing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane to Mary Page Marlowe at the Old Vic. He also returned to Theatre of War Productions in Sophocles’ Ajax.

In March, he flew to New York for a special screening of Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light at the Crosby Street Hotel in Soho — with Alison by his side.

Then it was Damian’s turn support Alison at her debut solo art exhibition, “No Slow Songs,” held at Nili Lotan’s boutique in Tribeca. The guest list included Brian Koppelman, Derek Blasberg, Karen Elson, Laura Prepon, and more — but what stood out most was Damian’s presence – proud, supportive, and beaming.

And their artsy adventures didn’t stop there. In May, Damian and Alison attended Dom Pérignon’s Revelations dinner at the Tate Modern — a night filled with champagne, modern art, a poetic performance by Tilda Swinton, and a secret DJ set by Anderson .Paak (as Pee Wee).

They also attended another glamorous world at the Charles Finch x Chanel Pre-BAFTA Dinner in London. The guest list was overflowing with stars — Ralph Fiennes, Lupita Nyong’o, Adrien Brody, Demi Moore, Anna Kendrick, and many more. The mariachi band welcomed guests, champagne flowed, and the countdown to BAFTA night officially began.

One of the most glamorous moments of Damian’s 2025 came in May, when he walked the red carpet at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival for the world premiere of Orwell: 2+2=5. Held at the iconic Palais des Festivals, the screening marked a major milestone: Damian lends his voice to the private writings of George Orwell in Raoul Peck’s powerful new documentary.

On the red carpet, he joined Peck, Alex Gibney, David Levine, Zhang Xin, Alexandra Strauss, and composer Aleksei Aigi — an extraordinary creative team for an extraordinary film. Inside the theatre, the audience rose to its feet in a long standing ovation for Peck, Damian, and the entire Orwell team. Damian later shared on Instagram, “Punchy and timely doc made by the brilliant Raoul Peck and Alex Gibney. Proud to have voiced George Orwell.” Well, we’re proud, too. Seeing Damian at Cannes — representing a project about truth, power, and the importance of speaking up — felt not only glamorous, but meaningful. Oh, and it was beautiful to see Alison there, too, supporting Damian!

But summer brought perhaps the most joyful Damian-and-Alison energy of the entire year.

First stop: Glastonbury Festival. Not just for one day. Not for two. For three whole days. Two artists in a sea of music, dancing, and joy.  The festival was crawling with celebrities — Idris Elba, Lily James, Cara Delevingne, Salma Hayek, Anya Taylor-Joy, Margot Robbie, Harry Styles — but our favorite moment was simply Damian and Alison blending into the crowd like two very happy teenagers.

Then came Latitude Festival. At Latitude, Damian and Alison watched Reggie Watts in the Comedy Arena, wandered through music and poetry tents, and enjoyed the kind of weekend that feels both both creative and relaxing.

August brought a trip to France, where they attended Noel Fielding’s, in Alison’s words “surrealist rock n roll western in hyper color” art opening Cowboys and Moons in Saint Paul de Vence. Damian, Alison, Manon, and a group of friends ate, explored, and enjoyed the sunshine in the South of France.

And thanks to Alison sharing an Instagram story thanking her sweetheart “for making the day and night so special and joyful” we know that they celebrated her birthday in London together with friends!

Looking back at Damian’s personal year in 2025, what stands out most isn’t glamour — though there was plenty of that. It isn’t fashion — though the Burberry looks were impeccable. It isn’t even the vintage Mercedes — though let’s be honest, that alone could carry a whole blog post. What stands out is how deeply full his life looks. Full of people. Full of creativity. Full of joy, quietly lived.

And that’s why we, in this year’s top moments, don’t just celebrate Damian the artist — we celebrate Damian the dad, the partner, the brother, the son, the friend, the human.

Here’s to another year of moments that remind us why we follow him, support him, and celebrate him… not just for what he does, but for who he is.

Happy New Year!
