Fan Fun Girls Say Good Bye to Bobby Axelrod

I believe, at this point, even those who live under a rock know that Damian Lewis has left Billions which marks the end of an era not only for the show but also for this blog.

Fan Fun with Damian Lewis has had an organic relationship with Billions. I launched the blog at the same time they started filming the series pilot and Damian found out about the blog the day they filmed the iconic ‘Fuck You Money’ scene. 

I have written a recap for every single episode and we collectively published more than 470 Billions articles varying from weekly reviews to analysis of characters and relationships to the music, books as well as locations and restaurants that appeared on the show in the last six years. My blog mates and I are obviously among those that have been most invested in Billions and its larger-than-life characters.

And now that it is sinking Damian is not a regular in the show, I feel way more emotional than I thought I would. It is the end of an era. I am not crying, you are crying! 🙂

Now, as we re-adjust to a world without Bobby Axelrod on our screens (and hope for a cameo at some point – pretty please!) Gingersnap, Lady Trader and I pay our tributes to this iconic character in our own ways: Each of us has had a different relationship with Bobby Axelrod and so each tribute is unique.

I now know ,thanks to you,that the actor Damian Lewis…is gone…but totally sad that bobby axelrod is gone…I totally dislike the character Mike prince….I have to be truthful..I am a Marvel geek…and Corey will always be a hydra agent and someone who tried to kill Hank Pym….and I cannot…right now…envision Axe Capital under his leadership……maybe dollar bill can find a Luca Brasi to take care of prince …sacker…she’s no good either…and last,but not least, chuck Rhodes…and never let him see it coming
